Starfish Enterprises, LLC was started in 1994 by wife and husband team, Diane & Dan Gitler. The name they chose, Starfish, reflects their love for the night sky and for the sea. Their company provides entertaining and educational science programs to individuals, institutions and organizations. They have conducted programs for family gatherings, libraries, schools, camps, scouts, child care centers, cultural centers, retail stores, community events, and periodically at sea, aboard Celebrity Cruises cruise ships.  Diane, a Marine Scientist, and Dan, an Astronomer, share a passion for science and infect everyone they teach with their contagious enthusiasm. Together, they have traveled near and far to collect materials and information to use in their exciting lessons. Devoted parents to two young sons, the Gitlers believe that the best way they can teach their children about the world is to actually show them the world and let them experience it for themselves. Through their unique programs, they'll do the same for you.
