Whales
featuring a 60-foot inflatable whale. Students will learn fantastically interesting facts about the many species of whales; they'll view slides and they'll examine whale photos to learn how whales are named. The inflatable "giant" will enable them to compare their own body size with that of these supreme mammals. Program length is approx. 45 minutes.

Astronomy
featuring the inflatable StarLab Portable Planetarium. Students will learn to locate planets, stars and constellations in the night sky. Planetarium can accommodate 25 students at a time. Program length is approx. 30 minutes per planetarium show.
Night Sky Viewing
featuring one or more (depending on crowd size) professional-grade telescopes to provide students and families with awesome views of celestial objects - the moon, planets (Jupiter & Saturn), comets, satellites, and the Int'l Space Station. Of course, this event is weather-dependent and what you'll see changes with the calendar. Program runs 2-3 hours after dark.
Marine Science
The Beach - examine beach sand from dozens of locations throughout the world; learn why the color and texture differ from beach to beach.
Seashells - examine a huge collection of seashells from many locations throughout the world and learn how many were valued in different cultures.
Seaweed - examine a variety of foods and household items made with seaweed. You might eat it everyday!
Coral Reefs - examine many species of coral animals and learn how reefs are formed.
Tides & Waves - use wave bottles to "see" a wave crashing; a visual display details how tidal bulges and tsunamis are created, and how the moon effects tides at the beach.
Ocean Animals - examine a real shark jaw and tail, plus a huge collection of shark tooth fossils. Holy Megalodon! Also, examine models of toothed and baleen whales and a collection of real, preserved sea animals too.

Rocks & Minerals - examine a huge collection of rocks and minerals from locations throughout the world; learn how igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks are created.
Fossils - examine an extraordinary display of fossils, marine fossils being the most abundant.
Marine Fossil Dig - screen for your own fossils through grit collected from a fossil-rich site in North Carolina. We guarantee you'll find seashell, bone and/or tooth fossils! We can also supply grit to your group - call or email for more information.
Select from our list of themes and have a party your guests will really enjoy. We can accommodate both small and large groups and will tailor any program to meet your needs.
For children's parties, it is recommended that size be limited to 15 guests so that each guest can receive one-on-one guidance from the instructor.
We bring all materials and supplies to your party. Guests will either make or receive their own party favor relating to the topic.
